Legal Assistant — Client Facing (Remote)
Handle client intake and follow-up for U.S. estate planning law firms using structured systems and defined workflows.
This is a client-facing intake and follow-up role for a U.S. estate planning law firm.
You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients — conducting intake calls, gathering accurate information, and following up to keep leads moving through the pipeline. This role is phone-primary, client-facing, and requires clear, professional spoken English.
This is not a drafting or legal research role.

Answer inbound calls from prospective clients promptly and professionally
Conduct structured intake conversations to gather complete client information
Record intake data accurately into the firm's case management system
Follow up with prospective clients who have not yet scheduled or completed intake
Schedule and confirm consultations between prospective clients and the attorney
Track pending leads and maintain intake pipeline organization
Escalate urgent or out-of-scope matters appropriately

Legal or law-firm administrative background strongly preferred — prior experience in a law firm, paralegal work, or legal studies (law school, paralegal coursework).
Estate planning, family law, or probate experience is a plus, not required.Excellent spoken English — clear, neutral, professional, confident on the phone with U.S. clients
High attention to detail — intake information must be accurate and complete
Strong verbal communication skills — able to hold professional phone conversations without sounding scripted
Understanding of the line between client intake and legal advice
Comfort working within structured workflows and follow-up systems
Candidates should be comfortable in a phone-primary, client-facing role — this is a different skill set than drafting or back-office work.
